Aug 1st Meeting Under the SLNC Pavillion
We held our meeting as planned under the pavillion at the Nature Center because “Neither rain nor snow nor gloom of night were going to hold us back” no wait a moment I think I am getting us confused with the Postal Service!!! Seriously despite the heat and humidity the loyal members of the Southern Bucks Garden Club met and mingled on Tuesday evening. After enjoying the wonderful refreshments provided by our President and the Hostesses and shared by our members we discussed the wonderful job done by the Boy and Girl Scouts and the sons of Jenny Boccardo and discussed ways of showing them our appreciation.
Joann Cosgrove discussed plans for the hummingbird addition to the butterfly garden at the nature center and the arbor that has been purchased. The arbor will be erected after the Pond tour is finished and the weather cools. We will need volunteers for a work party to clear the site where the compost pile used to be which is the site planned for the hummingbird addition.
Those who work in the butterfly garden before or after hours and who can’t sign the book inside the center please e-mail Cathy Raupp or notify her to make sure your hours are added to the book so that the hours are counted. It is very important to keep track of all the time you spend woking on the garden.

Joann and Eileen welcomed members to their gardens for a tour after the meeting.
